Duck Dynasty alum Sadie Robertson Huff, who is expecting her third child with husband Christian Huff, recently shared a frightening experience from a family trip to Florida. The 26-year-old author and podcast host revealed she was hospitalized after experiencing early contractions, which she believes were brought on by a bout of food poisoning.
In a recent episode of her podcast Whoa That's Good, Sadie opened up about the ordeal, saying:
"I honestly thought something was really wrong. I was having contractions way too early, and my whole body felt off. It turned out to be food poisoning, but it was intense."
The incident occurred during what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation, but Sadie said the situation quickly escalated, prompting a trip to the emergency room.
"We were in Florida with the girls, just trying to enjoy the beach, and suddenly I'm in a hospital bed. It was scary because when you're pregnant, any pain feels ten times more concerning."
Doctors were able to stabilize Sadie, and she was released after receiving fluids and being closely monitored. Fortunately, both mom and baby are now doing well.
"God is good. It was a tough day, but we're healthy and grateful."
Sadie and Christian announced in February 2025 that they are expecting their third baby, joining daughters Honey and Haven. Known for her openness and faith-centered lifestyle, Sadie often shares the highs and lows of motherhood on her social media and podcast.
Her fans have rallied around her with support, prayers, and well wishes. Many took to Instagram to comment on her update, calling her a "strong mama" and praising her vulnerability.
